परिकल्पना

के. वि. सं. उच्च गुणवत्ता वाले शैक्षिक प्रयासों के माध्यम से उत्कृष्टता प्राप्त करने के लिए अपने छात्रों को ज्ञान/मूल्य प्रदान करने और उनकी प्रतिभा, उत्साह और रचनात्मकता का पोषण करने में विश्वास रखता है।

उद्देश्य

शिक्षा का एक सामान्य कार्यक्रम प्रदान करके रक्षा और अर्ध-सैन्य कर्मियों सहित स्थानांतरणीय केंद्र सरकार के कर्मचारियों के बच्चों की शैक्षिक आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करना है।
स्कूली शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में उत्कृष्टता हासिल करने और गति निर्धारित करने के लिए।
केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड (सीबीएसई) और राष्ट्रीय शैक्षिक अनुसंधान और प्रशिक्षण परिषद (एनसीईआरटी) आदि जैसे अन्य निकायों के सहयोग से शिक्षा में प्रयोग और नवाचारों को शुरू करना और बढ़ावा देना।
राष्ट्रीय एकता की भावना का विकास करना और बच्चों में “भारतीयता” की भावना पैदा करना।

GENESIS

Established in 2012 with Kendriya Vidyalya Pragati Vihar First Shift opened in 1983 to cater to the educational needs of the wards of Central Government employees. Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pragati Vihar shifted to its new and beautifully constructed building in the beginning of the session 2003-2004.

VISION

To cater to the educational needs of the children of transferable Central Government employees including Defence and Para-Military personnel by providing a common programme of education, to pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of school education To initiate and promote experimentation and innovativeness in education.

MISSION

शिक्षक दिवस 2026 के अवसर पर मैं देश के समस्त शिक्षक समुदाय को अपनी हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ प्रेषित करता हूँ।

आज जब शिक्षा का क्षेत्र तीव्र गति से परिवर्तन के दौर से गुजर रहा है, तब भी शिक्षण की मूल भावना और उसका सार शाश्वत है। देशभर के केन्द्रीय विद्यालयों में हमारे शिक्षक पूर्ण समर्पण, प्रतिबद्धता और अटूट उत्साह के साथ शिक्षा के उद्देश्य को आगे बढ़ा रहे हैं।

“ A man is nothing but the products of his thoughts, What he thinks he becomes” At the very outset of my message I extend my gratitude to all my beloved students, guardians, learned staff and local administration of Pragati Vihar for providing all kind of academic & administrative support to make this institution a pace setter. As you all know that the mission of KVS is to pursue excellence and set pace in the field of school education. As a part of KVS we are trying our level best to disseminate information , knowledge, skill and wisdom among our heterogeneous group of students who belongs every layer of society and depict a true picture of unity in diversity. As per national knowledge commission deliberations we focused five key areas of knowledge – Access to knowledge, Knowledge concept, knowledge creation, knowledge application and development of better knowledge services. To achieve these targets our all sub systems i. e team of teachers , science labs, language labs, mathematics lab, computer lab, Resource rooms, Library, CCA & PHE departments are making optimum use of all available resources. Our every planning , organizing, staffing, directing, coordinating , reporting and budgeting (POSDCORB) is dedicated to our lovely buds which will bloom in to beautiful flowers in future i.e our students.
